The Comprehensive Gas Pipe Replacement Project for 20 RTUs involved the complete demolition, installation of approximately 600 linear feet of gas piping infrastructure, and the replacing of gas regulators to support the efficient operation of 20 new Roof-Top Units (RTUs) within a commercial building. This project aimed to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of the building's HVAC systems by modernizing and upgrading the gas system.

Located at the corner of 17th and Washington Streets in the Uptown neighborhood, the five-story Marieta will offer 37 for-sale residential units as well as 2,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space. The units are a mix of 1-bedroom/1-bath and 2-bedroom/2 bath residences ranging in size from 500 to 1,500 square feet. Some units include oversized private terraces or roof decks ranging in size from roughly 200 to 600 square feet.

Historic Burte Hotel Apartment Conversion

The Burte Hotel was first planned in 1909 and built by Gustave Burte sometime that same year. The hotel has been vacant for the last 40 years. “With such a large uptick in rental growth and a high demand for accessible units, we felt this project was a perfect fit for a remodel,” developer said. “We are working with the National Park Service and the state to help with tax incentives to provide a more affordable product.”
City plans are to convert the three-story, 17,688-square-foot 40 room building on the second and third floors into 20 one-bedroom and studio apartments.

Highline Charter School Expansion

In September 2021, the Highline Academy Board of Directors approved proceeding with the master plan for a facility expansion in support of the growing needs of the Southeast campus. The expansion project includes 5 new Middle School classrooms, 5 office / small meeting spaces, storage, gender-neutral bathrooms and an 1,800 square foot flexible learning space to be used by all grade levels.
